Little Cormorant Lake is located 10 miles west of Detroit Lakes, MM in Becker County near Audubon, MN. The lake covers 1067.24 acres, and is a shallow lake with many bays and islands. The maximum depth of the lake is 34 feet and a mean depth of 17 feet.
Little Cormorant Lake has no inlets or outlets, which classifies it as a groundwater seepage lake. Because it is fed by groundwater, the size and depth of the lake changes with the precipitation.
